I just wanted to post a few pictures from my baby sister's wedding this past weekend. Talk about stress! My kids were in the wedding, I did the flowers, Danielle's make up and took the photos! Man I'm still tired! I'll put up a full post in a few weeks but thought I'd share a few now! cuz I couldn't stand it, just had to share how darn cute my kids were! and how beautiful my baby sister looked! ...some people say we look alike ;0 ;) It's funny because we have always been told how much we look alike but as the years have gone by my sister has gained an entirely different style (I think she even had a name for her hair style???...man I feel old) and I've well, I've adopted the tired Mom of 2 look! I think I wear it well though ;)

and well you can't ever get a picture of Johnny where he isn't being silly or when he doesn't have girls hanging off of him so this was the best I could find!

and just because I love them so much I wanted to post a couple cute pictures of my cousins Shannon and Sherril and their gorgeous grown up kids who I used to babysit when I was 16 and they were the same ages as my kids!!!

Matt + Alysse Duncan {sonoma county wedding photographer}

I've known Matt for almost 8 years now. He is my best friend Trinity's older brother. Back long before kids and husbands, Trinity and I used to hang with Matt and his friends. So what a fun day it was to see all our old friends from "another life"

Matt and Alysse are so in love. If you can't tell just by watching them you could feel it during their emotion filled ceremony. It was a day filled with laughter, tears, and a lot of dancing!!

I don't typically post many family photos, mainly because there are too many to post and they are fairly redundant. But I can't help but show off some shots of this family I've grown very close to over the years! ....and I had to throw in a few of Alysse's wonderful family too! Her Father and Step Mother hosted the wedding in their gorgeous backyard in Santa Rosa. Just beautiful....



and this shot of Alysse with her Dad just before she walked down the aisle was taken by the wonderful Ayrjia Child. She was my amazing assistant that day and I wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for her!

Nancy + Jason's Engagement {sonoma county engagement photographer, sonoma county wedding photographer, vineyard engagement photos, red phone booth}

There are many things in this world that I love, engagement photos is definitely one of them! It's just so much fun to capture the love two people have with out the pressures of a timeline! Nancy and Jason are so adorable together! We had so much!

They just closed escrow on their first home a few weeks ago so when I picked them up for the shoot we snapped a couple photos with their sold sign! Then we went to the downtown area of their new hometown, Windsor and snapped a few photos of them hanging out as new Windsor residents!

We finished our shoot in the gorgeous vineyards just before sunset! I love love love love love Sonoma County at this time of year! It is absolutely GORGEOUS! and add a beautiful couple and it's photo magic waiting to happen!!

I give all my couples a little engagement session tip sheet before their session so they know what to expect, what to wear, and a few other tips to prepare. Nancy followed it to a T, she really came prepared for the shoot and the results showed!
