Nearly 25 years ago I met the Watkins Family. They lived 5 houses from mine on Vista Bonita Street in Glendora. Katie and I were best friends. We did everything together. Most of my childhood memories (anything before junior high really) was all with her. Katie had an older sister that in our eyes was SOOOOO cool. She wore make up, she was so pretty, and she was always doing something "cool" Mind you we were like 5 so she could have been curling her own hair and we thought that was so cool. I just remember Katie and I playing one of the many many board games from their hall closet and sneaking over to Traci's room to watch her "being cool" (again she was probably just putting on make up or listening to music but it was cool)
So when Traci asked me to save her a spot for my mini sessions I was so excited to see her again. We were trying to figure out how long it had been and I think we concluded it had been almost 15 or 16 years! She honestly doesn't look any different from what I remember! and it is so funny because her daughter is about the same age that Katie and I were when I first met them.
I looked through a few boxes but couldn't find any old pictures with Traci in them but I do have one of Katie and I on my facebook...

Needless to say it was such a treat to get to see Traci again and to meet her beautiful family.
